This hotel is located close to the railway station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by train. The rooms are exactly like in the pictures here, with a single bed and breakfast included which added value. The breakfast itself is in Venetian style and includes terrific croissants. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable.
All was just right at this hotel.

The hotel is clean and location on the main street of Venice.
The breakfast was too simple and limited to coffee, juce and croasans. The hotel should offer a greater variaty of fruits and sausages.

We had a quadroom and it was neat and tidy and quite large. Really pleased with the service we received from the staff and well as the room accommodation. No lift available so we needed to bring our luggage up a stair case to get to reception. Quadroom was next door to reception to luckily did not have the carry the luggage up any more stairs.

Spagna Hotel is near Venezia Santa Lucia main station, just walking distance. Also near vaporetto / waterbus stop. The hotel is very clean, tidy, comfort, and friendly. When we must check out in the early morning, hotel staff already prepared our breakfast pack. So we can eat in the train. Thank you so much.

The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the Santa Lucia rail terminal and a little more from the bus terminal. Only a few steps to negotiate to the train but one bridge with many steps to the bus. Not a problem pulling your own luggage to the bus unless you are frail. It is an easy 15-20 min walk to San Marco. The Water bus station is a couple of minutes away. There is an internet "cafe" down the lane opposite the hotel. The hotel staff were very pleasent and helpful with good English. Our room was spacious (we were given a triple) and well prepared, with LCD TV. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a small shower with no bath, but was larger than many we have had in Europe. We stayed in early September when it was hot and humid and the air conditioning worked well. Our room overlooked the main street but we heard little noise. Breakfast was simple Continental (juice, rolls, croisents, coffee/tea plus muesli) and served to us at the table.
The hotel has no lift so be ready to lug your cases up the stairs. The hotel's wifi internet is something like 4 euros for 1 hour and 9 euros for 4 hours (provided by some external company) so we did not use it. This sort of charge seems common in Venice, but it is strange that almost everywhere else in our 8-week tour around europe, even cheap hotels manage to provide free internet for customers.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station, making it very convenient for travelers. The rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures, with charming Venetian style decor. The hotel offered great value for money, with breakfast included. The croissants were absolutely delicious, and there was even wine available. it was a wonderful stay.
No improvement needed, everything was perfect.

Perfect location two steps from the railway and vaporetto stations, so that whatever you wish in Venice and Veneto is easily reachable. It was quiet, despite the busy street, clean and comfortable. Excellent and very helpful staff creates very good friendly atmosphere. I remember this stay with real pleasure!

Very good staff. We have not many time to see Venice and the personal helped us. He explained how to do it if we have only 5 hours.
